Explore new courses at the college this fall

Exciting new Continuing Education courses are currently tempting students to expand their knowledge and sign up for classes at the Cranbrook and Kimberley campuses of College of the Rockies. A wide variety of programs are being offered this fall to enhance student’s professional portfolio or to simply discover new skills for fun.

Office Yoga is just one of the new courses being offered this fall by the Continuing Education Department of College of the Rockies.

Continuing Education Coordinator Martina Danzer noted, “Especially popular are the social media courses like Facebook for Business, Cell Phone Apps for Business or the Social Media for Business certificate. Most of these courses are offered online and therefore fit the entrepreneur’s busy schedule.

“For those who would like to learn a new language, they can choose from Italian, Spanish or American sign language, either in-class or online,” Danzer continued. “Other fun classes include belly dancing, self-hypnosis, sewing, cooking, pet first aid, a variety of holistic well-being courses and Christmas craft classes.

“Interested students also have the opportunity to check out some courses before they have to commit,” Danzer said. “The College is offering two introductory sessions: Reiki Healing and Healing with Heart. Even though these workshops are free, students still need to sign up prior to the course.”

For more information or to register for a class call the Cranbrook Campus at 250-489-8242 or the Kimberley Campus at 250-427-7116 ext. 3752.
