Happy Earth Day! This is the 46th anniversary. Founded upon the aspirations of the environmental movement, it has grown to become an international event. Like many other days devoted to various aspects of life, like International Siblings Day or Women’s Day and so on, it is acknowledged by many but officially celebrated by relatively few. But it is fairly large and has taken hold in some communities more than others.
This year, what is extra special about Earth Day is that it coincides with the Full Moon in Scorpio, in apt accordance with 2016 constituting a Universal 9 Year. The passionate emotional impulse of this potent watery Moon will serve to spike the punch in this year’s Earth Day celebrations.

April 22- 28
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
You are on the march. Your determination may, however, be challenged by rising and falling energy levels. Other external restrictions and delays may also be an issue. This is your cue to slow down, to be more deliberate and prudent, to deepen your concentration levels and pay closer attention to the details and the likely long-term implications of your choices.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
The Sun in your sign is an indication that the lights are green and you are good to go. Yet, you may be happy to remain slightly below the radar, keeping your ambitions private. This is partially due to the fact that you are undergoing so many changes both within and without and so you remain cautious. Your power potential is steadily rising, however, and your confidence levels are close in tow.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
Circumstances have probably been up and down of late. Keeping up has probably been a challenge and a strain on your energy levels. The time has come to recharge for a while. While some retreat time will feel right, you may also increase your enthusiasm and vitality levels by reaching out to social events. Participating in activities you have not experienced before will prove extra effective.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Your originality is shining through. Others are seeing you more clearly for who you are. What others may not be seeing is just how hard you have been working. Tending to a variety of fronts is likely. At worst, you feel stretched with too much to do. Yet, you have work to do and no one can do it for you, so summon yet another second wind and persevere.
Leo (July 22 – Aug 23)
The time has come to increase your popularity and social presence. The urge to do so has been building for the past several weeks and now it is time to take more deliberate action. Your motivation is guided by practical and financial ambitions. This momentum will continue over the coming several weeks especially and will, in fact, build.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
You are beginning to see a bigger picture of the world and your place in it. This is supported by a steady flow of realizations and perhaps even some genuine epiphanies. Yet, circumstances are also pushing to you to dig deeper and to overcome possible fears, blocks, and inertia. This will require that you pay closer attention to the details and work harder to take bigger risks.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
Change is the common theme and seems especially true for you these days. Now you are entering a time when this process will deepen. Call it spring-cleaning. It includes accessing the talents and resources of others. Who can you reach out to? It is hard to feel as confident as we would like sometimes and this may be one of them. All you need is a little help from your friends.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
The most recent phase of your reinvention process is now complete. The next step is to take it out there and see how it flies. In some respects, your process is larger than you, is intended to benefit others somehow. It might be a good idea to take things slowly, though. Too much too fast could prove overwhelming. Pace yourself.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
An expansive roll continues. There is some caution woven in and perhaps says blocks and delays as well. This could prove frustrating after all your patient yet persistent efforts. Trust the flow; these delays were set in motion way before you arrived on the planet Earth scene. Use this time to deepen your research studies. Whatever is happening, regard it as foundational.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
You have just entered a creative cycle. Expect your inspiration levels to increase and your focus to deepen over the coming weeks. This could prove quite empowering since you have been attending to a variety of fronts of late, preventing you from focusing as deeply as you would like. This comes at a time when your energy levels are wavering so get extra rest if you can.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
Home sweet home is on your mind. Yet it may not all be pillows and candles. Change is in the air and perhaps on the ground too, and you have work to do. Adjusting your perspectives and priorities is featured. How to best create a nurturing and empowering atmosphere is the question. This is likely to be both an inside-and-out-job.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Many new thoughts and ideas are flowing through your mind these days and the entire flow has suddenly received some fresh juice. Plans within plans are beginning to take form. Yet, to succeed you may have to think differently, out of your familiar box. This Full Moon will help you to do that and if you are successful, it will produce a fresh flow, perhaps one spiked with dollar signs.
