Sam Steele Salute The Boots: Our Fire Fighters

The theme of Sam Steele Days 2016 is ‘Salute the Boots.’

Here they are preparing for the worst in hope that they never need to. Nothing stops this team.

Recently, Sam Steele spent some time with various public servants and has submitted his report to show what he experienced in the day of a life of a Fire Fighter.

I have always had the upmost respect for those who put their lives on the line each and every day. But, with my experience is with the North West Mounted Police and I never quite understood what being a Cranbrook Fire Fighter was all about.

Our local fire fighters have a great reputation in our community. But, part of that reputation also includes some terrible dancing at their annual Halloween Bash. I wanted to see if it was all fun and games so I arranged to hang out with them for a day and see what they did in a regular day in Cranbrook.

Thanks you Cranbrook Fire Fighters for letting me spend the day with you and ask questions about all your equipment including how to use your Keurig. Now, that is how you brew coffee.
