Attempted daytime break in to Scotiabank

rcmplogoCranbrook RCMP is searching for a man who attempted to break into the back door of the Scotiabank at 524 Cranbrook Street this morning (Sept. 13).

At 9:21 a.m. Cranbrook RCMP officers responded to a call of a male using a prybar, trying to break into the back door of the Scotiabank. The male saw staff and fled on foot. Immediate police attendance failed to locate the male.

Police describe the man as fit in appearance, in his mid 20s, wearing jeans, black hoody, with two black eyes and white tape across his nose and may have recently suffered a broken nose.

The RCMP is asking that if anyone has seen this person or knows who he is or his whereabouts, they are requested to call their local police immediately.
