Please be advised that the intersection of 9th Avenue South and 1st Street South is now a four-way stop.

Signage was installed August 22, with the permanent stop signs along 9th Avenue being installed shortly.

At the regular meeting of August 12, City of Cranbrook Council approved the installation of the four-way stop following a recommendation made by the Cranbrook In Motion Committee.  The intersection has some sightline issues, which create safety concerns.

The public is reminded that the four way stop at 9th Avenue South and 1st Street South is now in place. Please exercise caution and follow and respect all signage.
