City down a CAO
The City of Kimberley is on the lookout for another chief administrative officer (CAO).
The city released a press brief yesterday (Feb. 19) announcing that CAO Al Mulholland is no longer working for the city.
“The city writes this communication to advise that Mr. Al Mulholland is no longer employed with the city,” stated the press brief.
“We thank him for his service to the city and wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Mayor Ron McRae in the release.
Council has appointed current city Chief Financial Officer Holly Ronnquist to fill in as the acting CAO until the position has been filled.
The city expects to find a permanent replacement within three or four months, it stated.
No other details were released by the city.
