First term Councillor Clara Reinhardt was Oct. 10 acclaimed as the Village of Radium Hot Springs’ third mayor. Two-term Mayor Dee Conklin has opted not to run again and Reinhardt was unchallenged for her seat.

Seeking re-election to Radium’s four-person council are Karen Larsen, Todd Logan and Ron Verboom, while Raymond Abbott and Tyler McCauley have also filed nomination papers to run in the Nov. 15 election.
