The Columbia Valley RCMP Detachment annual Open House is being held May 27 from 5-8 p.m. at the detachment’s station just west of the Invermere crossroads on Athalmer highway.

This event is sponsored by Windermere Lions Club, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire and Tim Hortons. “Come out and have dinner hosted by the Lions Club and have the kids tour the cell block area and jump on our toys in the back parking lot,” recommends S/Sgt. Marko Shehovac.
