1. AGREEMENTS, LICENCES PERMITS & POLICIES
1.1 RDEK Bylaw No. 2675, E-9-1-1 Service Establishment Bylaw No. 1665, 2002 Amendment Bylaw No. 1, 2016 RDEK Bylaw No. 2675, E-9-1-1 Service Establishment Bylaw No. 1665, 2002, Amendment Bylaw No. 1, 2016 Council consents to the adoption of the above noted bylaw, which will amend the provisions of the E9-1-1 Service as established by Bylaw No. 1665. 2. BYLAWS
2.1 RDEK Bylaw No. 2657 & 2658 Referrals, RDEK Elk Valley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2532, Amendment Bylaw No. 2, 2015 & Elk Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 829, Amendment Bylaw No. 79, 2015 re: Brenners Road and Cunliffe Road – Gary and Lila Tomlinson Council recommends that the landowners complete a traffic impact study to the satisfaction of the RDEK prior to adoption of RDEK Bylaw No. 2657 and RDEK Bylaw No. 2658 to address the intent of Policy 5.3 (2)(d) (iii) of RDEK Elk Valley Official Community Plan (OCP) as outlined in the Elk Valley Official Community Plan. 3. OTHER INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
3.1 Resolution brought forward from the 2016-01-25 Committee of the Whole Meeting THAT the request from the Fernie Snowmobile Association for release of Resort Municipality Initiative Funds (RMI) be added to the Regular Agenda of January 25 for council’s consideration. 3.2 Resolution brought forward from the 2016-01-25 Committee of the Whole Meeting: THAT a request to modify the Bylaw Enforcement & Response to Citizen Complaints policy to increase levels of enforcement and initiate ticketing right away regarding dogs at large be brought forward for Council’s consideration at the Regular meeting January 25, 2016; and THAT council direct staff to bring forward the option of a term Animal Control Officer for discussion at the next budget meeting.

The next regular council meeting will be held on Tuesday (note week day change), February 9 at 7 p.m. and Committee of the Whole Meeting at 10 a.m. February 9.
CBT Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs
The Regional District of East Kootenay delivers these programs in the East Kootenay region on behalf of Columbia Basin Trust.
The Community Initiatives Program funds projects that are identified as priorities within the communities and rural areas of the Regional District of East Kootenay. Deadline for applications is February 15, 2016. Visit the RDEK website for details.
