Kimberley man rescued off Highway 40
High River RCMP just reported that a missing 67-year-old Kimberley man, Ernest Davis, has been located by Crowsnest Pass Search and Rescue.
Davis was reported missing yesterday (Feb. 9) after leaving a residence in High River, Alberta at 2 p.m. the day before (Feb. 8). He was on his way home to Kimberley in his red Dodge Caravan.
Today, as a result of a tip from an area rancher, Crowsnest Pass Search and Rescue members toured along Highway 40 (also known as Forestry Trunk Road) and located Davis.
His vehicle went off the road on the Forestry Trunk Road, north of Blairmore, reported High River RCMP Sgt. Brent Hawker.
“The High River RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance on this matter. At this time he is being transported to the hospital for an examination,” he said.
