CBC celebrity and Calgary-based entrepreneur and financial whiz Brett Wilson is offering $5,000 to the Invermere Rotary Club’s Splash Park plans if they are successful in winning the Kraft Celebration Tour vote-off today against Pemberton for a $25,000 prize.

The Windermere resident is no stranger to philanthropy, having provided substantial support in the past to Invermere’s Summit Youth Centre, among other local causes over the years. He was one of the key characters on CBC’s The Dragon’s Den for three seasons and is now a part owner of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.
