Stetski says he isn’t crossing the floor
Rumours that Kootenay-Columbia MP Elect Wayne Stetski (NDP) is going to cross the floor of Parliament and join the Liberal Party continue to circulate in some parts of the riding.
However, Stetski told e-KNOW today (Oct. 28), that he has no intention of crossing the floor.
“I am looking forward to being a strong voice for Kootenay-Columbia on behalf of all constituents, and I will be doing so as a proud member of the NDP Caucus. We will hold the Liberal government’s feet to the fire to ensure they deliver on their promises to Canadians. I would never betray the trust of those who worked so hard to see a positive change in this riding by crossing the floor to join any other party. I am looking forward to seeing Prime Minister elect Justin Trudeau in Ottawa,” Stetski stated.
