Two young men were killed and a third badly injured in an early morning crash on Gold Creek Road, just south of 42 Avenue South.

A late 1980s model pickup truck impacted a tree beside the road. BC Ambulance, Cranbrook RCMP and South East District Traffic Services, along with an accident investigator from Nelson, attended the scene and an investigation is underway.

Police are still compiling information and more be will reported when available.
