Youth Impact Youth Centre officially opened

On Monday, March 7, the Youth Impact Youth Centre held its official ribbon cutting for its brand new location at 1320-2nd St. N.

Special guests included Debbie and Doug McPhee from School District No. 5, Constable Kathy Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP, Donna Brady-Fields from the United Way East Kootenay, and Laura Branswell from Wayne Stetski’s (Kootenay-Columbia MP) Cranbrook office.

Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club board members in attendance included Mike Paugh, Shawna Elliott, and Amanda Casey. Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club staff members included Lori McNeill (Executive Director), Debbie Morris (Program Director), and Tim Matwey (Youth Centre Manager).

A big ‘thank you’ to all the Youth Centre participants who attended the ribbon cutting as well!

The Youth Centre would like to invite interested individuals and businesses to consider making a donation towards the Youth Centre’s current operating costs or to the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club Opportunity Fund with the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation.
