Canada’s Minister of Environment & Climate Change, the Honourable Catherine McKenna (Ottawa Centre MP) this morning singled out firefighters working the Wardle wildfire in Kootenay National Park for praise.

“Sending thanks to the brave @ParksCanada men and women who continue to manage the Wardle wildfire in @KootenayNP. Significant progress has been made toward containing the fire and it is now being held. #BCwildfires,” McKenna tweeted, adding the above photo.
