The Canal Flats Arena has been operational for 50 years and Oct. 13 marked the first time the Upper Deck concession stand opens its window to the public for a soft opening.

The extensive upgrades to the previously small concession stand have created a new dining opportunity for locals and visitors alike.

The new griddle, fryer and oven have expanded the menu to include many new hot options such as burgers, fries, and chicken strips in addition to the usual hot chocolate, coffee, pop, and packaged treats that have been previously offered.

The Upper Deck is open Friday to Sunday and is a phenomenal addition to the entertainment provided by the many hockey tournaments hosted at the Canal Flats Arena.

Come out on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday all through the arena’s open season and show your support for the players and our new cooks.
