Candidate hopeful hosting potluck BBQ at home
Columbia River-Revelstoke NDP candidate hopeful Spring Hawes is inviting supporters and the public to a barbecue at her home on July 10.
“I’ve been working hard these last few weeks, connecting with people up and down the Columbia River – Revelstoke riding and asking them to join the BC New Democrats in support of my candidacy. I’m happy to tell you that the response has been overwhelmingly positive,” Hawes said. “The folks I’ve talked to are looking for someone authentic and connected to the community to be their voice in Victoria.”
To celebrate all the support she’s received “and to start looking toward the next phase” Hawes is hosting a potluck barbecue for everyone at my house.”
The barbecue is Sunday, July 10, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
“Please come if you can! And please bring a friend or two who may be interested in meeting me. It will be a great chance to talk, ask questions, and socialize,” she said.
Spring’s house is at 4193 Coy Road, located off Westside Road south of Invermere.
