Warehouse broken into between March 1 and 4
Between March 1 and March 4 suspects broke into the Frito Lay warehouse on Laurier Street in Invermere. If anyone has information regarding this break and enter, please call the Invermere RCMP at 250-342-9292 or Crimestoppers.
Winter blast increased responses to collisions and stranded drivers
With the blast of winter weather over the weekend, Columbia Valley RCMP responded to a number of motor vehicle collisions and stranded drivers both in Kootenay National Park and other areas around the Columbia Valley.
If you are travelling at this time of year, be sure to be prepared for all weather as conditions can change rapidly; especially through the mountain passes. Always ensure you have a full tank of fuel, good winter tires and bring winter clothing to keep warm in the event you are stranded for a period of time.
