CVFF ready to step forward after AGM

Thank you to those who attended the Columbia Valley Food and Farm (CVFF) Annual General Meeting Nov. 19. Your presence and support mean so much to us as we take these important steps toward launching our Nourish Food Recovery Program.

Although we are still in the planning stage, your encouragement and contributions reinforce our belief in the impact this program can have on reducing food waste and to help others address food insecurity in our community. With your help, we are building the foundation for something truly meaningful.

Over the next few weeks, we will be making site visits to Cranbrook, Kimberley and Golden. All of these communities have been so generous in sharing their journey to successful programs and we look forward to learning of their accomplishments as well as their pitfalls so that we can begin to design a unique program for the Columbia Valley.

We understand many of you wanted to attend but were unable to be there.

Be assured that we will be holding other information sessions over the next several months and look forward to seeing you all!

We are grateful for your confidence in our vision and look forward to sharing updates with you as we progress. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
