21st annual Bull Riding in the Rockies Friday
Bull Riding in the Rockies is returning to Invermere for the 21st year on Friday, July 19, from 5 – 11 p.m.
A memorial to Bill McIntosh, the rodeo is again being held in the lot beside the Invermere Curling Club.
Bull Riding in the Rockies, a fundraiser for the Columbia Valley Rockies hockey club, features about two dozen top professional competitors as they wrestle with prime quality bulls.
The evening events are as follows:
5 – 6:45 p.m. – Cowboy Supper at the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena is by Konig Meat and Sausage Company.
7:15 p.m. – Bull Riding with professional bull-riders and top rodeo clowns.
7:15 p.m. – Mexican Poker.
After the rodeo event – a Family Dance with the band, KixxsIn at the Invermere Curling Club.
