The District of Invermere has issued a Water Conservation Notice for residents.

The district is preparing to complete a critical water system repair at the Paddy Ryan Lakes raw water intake, with work scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 3.

The Water Conservation Notice covers the work which is “to help extend the capacity of our water reservoir and minimize service impact. While repairs are underway, our Paddy Ryan Lakes drinking water treatment plant will be offline, and the water system will depend on our treated water reservoir to supply the system during this time.”

The district also notes there will be additional impact in the areas of, CastleRock, Pine Ridge and Westridge.
