Dylan Duzan KIJHL’s Young Gun of the week
Netting three goals, including a game-winner, and collecting two assists in two games helped Dylan Duzan of the Columbia Valley Rockies earn this week’s Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) Young Guns selection.
The Moose Jaw, Sask., native felt he was quick with the puck and produced.
“Being quick all over the ice is really what helped me,” said Duzan, who had three points, including a winning goal against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats in a 5-1 win. “My linemates really helped as well as being able to get pucks to make plays.”
Duzan said he plays a 200-foot game and strives to be fast on pucks and finding the right areas to be able to score and set up his teammates.
In 20 games, Duzan has 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points.
