Hand-in-hand with the Bonspiel-on-the-Lake is the annual Invermere Snowflake Festival.

Join this year’s celebration of winter at Kinsmen Beach in Invermere next Friday, January 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A local tradition, the Snowflake Festival is a “must-do” event of the winter season, with its beginnings in 2010.

Dress for the weather and prepared for a fun evening in Invermere, though there will be plenty of bonfires around to keep you toasty warm.

This year is also the 40th anniversary of the Bonspiel-on-the Lake.
