Poutine lovers are in for a major treat on Oct. 15 the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 71 in Invermere.

Poutine lovers will be assembling at the Invermere Legion (525 13 St.) to sample a variety of poutines served up by the finest restaurants in the Columbia Valley. Sample, drink, vote, enjoy. Taste them all and vote for the best at Poutine Palooza, Saturday, Oct. 15.

Ticket price includes one beer ticket or two non-alcoholic drink tickets. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., sampling begins at 7 p.m. The event will run until about 11:30 p.m.
