Ray would have been smiling
By Bob Ede
The 18th annual Columbia Valley Rockies Bull Riding in the Rockies, held on Friday, July 22, was dedicated to the memory of Ray Brydon.
Ray was a long serving volunteer with the Columbia Valley Rockies and worked tirelessly on making the Bull Riding event the success it is today.
Ray passed away this last week after a battle with cancer.
He would have been smiling to see the sold out event, with young and old enjoying the thrills and spills, which there were plenty.
Hats off to the cowboys and bulls, who can never get along, and all the organizers who get along to bring this great annual event to Invermere.
