Invermere’s Kinsmen Beach is going to be a busy place again this weekend as the annual Rockies Pond Hockey Tournament gets underway.

Running Jan. 25-27, the tourney is a key fundraiser for the Columbia Valley Rockies of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

Organizers say the ice looks great and the rinks are ready thanks to a committed ice crew.

The schedule is now posted, too.

ULLR bar will host a Red Neck Pond Hockey Party with live music Friday January 25 and on January 26 after the Rockies game with DJs on Saturday.
