Snowflake Festival returns to Kinsmen Beach Jan. 20
Invermere’s annual winter celebration, the Snowflake Festival, returns to Kinsmen Beach on Friday, January 20.
Presented by the District of Invermere, the event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with live music, firepits, ice skating, 8 p.m. fireworks and more.
Next to the festival will be the annual Bonspiel-on-the-Lake, adding to the winter wonderland ambiance.
After the Snowflake Festival head downtown to ULLR Bar and take in a performance by Heavy Airship, a Led Zeppelin tribute band. Doors open at 9 p.m. and show starts at 10 p.m.
