Transfer Station now operating on fall/winter hours
The Invermere Transfer Station is now operating in its fall and winter hours.
The Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday and all users will be required to take solid waste to the Columbia Valley Landfill located on Windermere Loop Road.
The Columbia Valley Landfill is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Household garbage is free.
A friendly reminder that site staff will direct users to bins available for use. This site will only be used to drop off household waste. Furniture, appliances, contractor waste and yard waste will not be accepted at this site. Only waste in residential bags that will fit through the bear resistant lids will be accepted.
