KNP highway closed again
Highway 93 through Kootenay National Park is once again closed at Vermillion Crossing due to fire operations on the Wardle wildfire.
An update is expected soon.
Kootenay National Park visitors can access the park from Castle Junction to the Paint Pots in the north and from Radium Hot Springs to Settlers Road in the south.
A detour to the Columbia Valley is available via Highway 1 to Golden and then Highway 95 south; or via Crowsnest Pass on Highway 3.
