The Invermere Public Library’s next big project is to bring a bookmobile service to the Columbia Valley.

The library wants to equitably serve everyone in its catchment area by bringing books and services where they are needed, from Spillimacheen to Canal Flats.

As a result, library members are beginning the fundraising process for the acquisition and uplift of a van.

To help them with grant writing efforts, the library is asking valley residents to fill out a quick survey (five questions) to gauge the need for this service.
