Donations sought for Woodcarver Park Halloween fundraiser
The Radium Village Arts & Culture Society continues with its efforts to raise funds for Woodcarver Park.
With that goal in mind the society is organizer a Halloween fundraiser event Oct. 29 and is in search of donation items for its silent auction table.
“To provide you with a little background, Rolf Heer, known as the Radium Woodcarver or Wizard, bequeathed his property, where his ‘Home of a Thousand Faces’ once stood, to the Radium Village Arts & Culture Society. His wishes were to have a community park built where people could display art, listen to music and to gather for fun and games,” the society explained.
Above is a rendering of the proposed Woodcarver Park plan. This project has a proposed budget to build of $1.1 million. Every donation helps to get them there.
