An irrigation ban is hereby imposed within the Village of Radium Hot Springs, until further notice.

Turbidity and sediment levels continue to be very high from our water source in Forster Creek. As a result, our drinking water plant is having a challenge meeting the demand for water.

We are asking everyone to stop irrigating, so as to ease the pressure on the water treatment plant.

The turbidity levels in Forster Creek are gradually diminishing and we expect that the water treatment plant will be able to return to full capacity within a few days.
