Snow Golf reaches sweet 16
The Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley’s Snow Golf Tournament turns 16 this year.
The annual 18-hole tourney on the ice of Lake Windermere’s Taynton Bay always provides its colourful participants with an outdoor adventure, as conditions vary, wildly at times, from year-to-year.
The fundraising funfest returns Saturday, Jan. 14, with registration from 11 to noon at The Station Neighbourhood Pub. Register sooner than later as things get rolling with a shotgun start at noon.
The tournament is a scramble format with heaps of prizes for the tiny $35 entry fee.
Dress appropriately for the weather.
