Driving Highway 93 through Kootenay National Park this winter?

Be aware that no generator is running at Kootenay Crossing this winter. As a result, the buildings, including the public bathroom, will not be serviced.

The SOS phone has been relocated outside the gate for easy access in case of emergencies (pictured).

The Highway 93 has three emergency phones in total in Kootenay National Park; you can find them at Simpson River, Kootenay River and Marble Canyon.
