Steamboat Jubilee Mountain OCP open houses Sept. 16 and 17 in Radium Hot Springs

The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) has been working on the draft Steamboat Jubilee Mountain Official Community Plan (OCP) over the summer and it is now ready for residents’ review and comment.

The drafts will be presented at the upcoming open houses and will be available immediately after the open houses on the RDEK’s project page.

These meetings will be in an open house format and will be held at four different times to try and ensure all residents have the opportunity to attend and view the draft OCP. The information provided at the open houses will be identical so you only need to attend at a time that works best for you.

There will not be a formal staff presentation but staff will be available for any questions you may have.

Safety precautions such as social distancing and limiting the number of residents within the meeting at one time will be in place. Please note that you may be asked to wait outside if the meeting room has reached the capacity of residents who can be safely distanced at one time.

The draft OCP policies and map schedules will be available for review at the Open Houses. Paper copies of the draft OCP will be available to take home.

Paper copies of the Community Ideas & Feedback Survey Summary will also be available at the open House and on this page.

All information provided at the open houses along with links to the comment form will be available on this project page September 21.
