Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) operators are on site of a water main break in Edgewater.

As a result of the break, water has been shut off to areas on Riverview, Selkirk, Sinclair and Cordillera.

“We do have someone going door to door to notify affected residents. At this time, we do not know how long the outage will be; however, we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available,” the RDEK reported on social media.
