Wildsight hosts Columbia paddle with local MP

Last weekend, Wildsight hosted a crew of 42 paddlers in canoes, kayaks and on paddleboards, travelling the Columbia River Wetlands between Invermere and Radium Hot Springs. The paddle was a celebration of the recent boating regulations that protect North America’s longest intact wetland, 30 years of protecting water and wild places for Wildsight and BC Rivers Day. Kootenay-Columbia MP Wayne Stetski, proponent of the boating regulations, joined the celebratory paddle.
