Columbia Valley Rural Fire & Rescue Services is thanking motorists for being safe and courteous during a car fire along Highway 93/95 yesterday.

The car fire occurred south of Windermere earlier in the afternoon of February 5.

“A big thank you as well to the crew from the Windermere Fire Department who worked to extinguish the fire as quickly as possible so traffic flow could safely resume,” the fire department noted on social media.
