The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) this afternoon (March 21) reported the Water Quality Advisory that has been in place since March 14 for a portion of the Windermere Area has been rescinded.

The advisory had been in effect following routine work on the water system that required samples to be sent for testing. The samples have been returned and the Water Quality Advisory in the Windermere area has been lifted.

A Water Quality advisory remains in effect in the Edgewater Area.
