Come bang your heads for Vancouver’s own Astrakhan this evening (August 3) at The Legendary Byng Roadhouse in Cranbrook.

Please note this show was originally slated to be at the Baker Hotel but has moved to The Byng.

Astrakhan, which is also a city in southern Russia, is a bombastic, sludgy foray along the heavy rock road, part of Vancouver’s prodigious heavy music scene.

Currently on cross-country tour, the band includes: Dustan Toth, vocals/bass; Adam Young, guitar; Rob Zawistowski, vocals/guitar; and Jerome Brewer on drums.

Folks heading over for the show should known that there will be prizes for ‘hardest headbanger or mosher.’
