Construction work upgrading the intersection of Baker Street and 11th Avenue South is close to completion with preparation underway this week for concrete works.

Public Works will be pouring the sidewalks leading to the intersection crosswalks over the next couple of weeks, with all work completed by the Thanksgiving long weekend.

Pedestrians and drivers are asked to please continue using caution when using or travelling through the intersection, as crews will have equipment and machinery in use. Vehicle traffic will still be able to move. However, there may be some brief interruptions to traffic flow during this time.

Please respect and obey all signage and direction of any flaggers. It is so important for drivers to be aware of their presence. Please slow down to give these personnel the space they need to be safe.
