Bill Bennett endorsing Lee Pratt for Mayor

Former long-time Kootenay East MLA and BC Liberal Party cabinet minister Bill Bennett has officially announced he is endorsing Lee Pratt for a third term as City of Cranbrook Mayor in the Oct. 15 municipal election.

“Politicians who actually do what they promise to do are rare. Mayor Lee Pratt promised he would keep taxes down in Cranbrook, start fixing our roads, attract new jobs and manage the town’s business with common sense,” Bennett said.

“Lee has kept his promise to us, and the town is strong and moving forward.

“I support Lee Pratt because Lee has proven that he’ll keep his promises to us, and he’ll take the actions that will keep our community strong,” said the Cranbrook resident.

Pratt is being challenged for a third term in office by recent city councillor and former fire chief Wayne Price.
