Blood Origins Canada hosting film Wire & Water
The Blood Origins Canada Foundation from Cranbrook is hosting the internationally recognized film Wire & Water directed by Dr. Robbie Kroger from Blood Origins on September 25 at College of the Rockies.
This film is for anyone interested in community and sustainable use.
For decades, the Wilberforce Ranch in Zimbabwe has been forgotten. Community land and wildlife have been decimated by poaching, deforestation and over-grazing.
The film follows the journey of Guav and Courtney Johnson as they work to rehabilitate the community’s land and foster a self-sustaining future for the community.
The film is being shown from 7 to 9 p.m. at College of the Rockies Cranbrook Campus room KC250.
Admission is free and questions and thought provoking discussions are to follow the film.
