On Saturday, November 5, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP received a call of a fight at the 2600 block of 6th Street South between a group of males, where the caller saw a rifle in the hands of one of the males involved.

RCMP members responded immediately, made entry into the house and arrested two males involved and seized a loaded rifle. The other two males involved in the fight had departed prior to police attendance but were located a short time later.

There were no major injuries to anyone involved in the altercation. One male is being held for a hearing with the Justice of the Peace or Judge. The parties were all known to each other, Cranbrook RCMP reported.
