Get ready for an incredible two-day celebration of creativity and expression at the Ed Fest Arts & Music Festival, taking place on September 6 and 7 at Rotary Park.

This free-to-attend festival offers an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages, filled with music, art, and community spirit.

Festival Highlights:

  • Cranbrook Arts Lantern Parade: Experience the magic of a mesmerizing lantern parade that will light up the night.

Workshops & Art Competition:

  • Cranbrook Arts Workshops: Participate in engaging workshops organized by Cranbrook Arts, offering hands-on experiences for all ages.

Artisan Market:

In collaboration with the Cranbrook Farmer’s Market, our artisan market will feature local crafts and goods, providing a perfect opportunity to discover unique items and support local artisans.

Whimsical History of Ed the Elephant:

  • Embrace the whimsical history of Ed the elephant, who famously escaped from a traveling circus in Cranbrook nearly a century ago.
  • Ed’s Stampede on September 7 at 1 p.m.: Join the fun with a downtown “stampede” featuring a large puppet of Ed. Attendees are encouraged to wear carnival-themed costumes to add to the festive atmosphere.

Fisher Peak Performing Arts Society Community Showcase Stage:

Enjoy performances by local talent in dance, music, and other performing arts, highlighting the rich cultural fabric of Cranbrook.
