CFES respond to early morning fire
Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services earlier this morning (Sept. 13) responded in full to a structure fire at the Westland Insurance office off Theatre Road.
Initial reports say damage to the structure was limited considering the difficult location of the fire.
Cranbrook RCMP also responded to the 330 a.m. blaze, which was quickly extinguished with damage to the interior of the building.
“No one was hurt and the cause of the fire is still under investigation,” reported Sgt. Shayne Parker.
