CFES tackle fire at old Kootenay Springs building
A derelict building that has proven to be a thorn in the side of Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services (CFES) members the past few years flared up again this morning (March 23).
CFES C Shift was called to help fight a stubborn fire located in the old Kootenay Springs building early this morning.
Traffic disruptions resulted on 6th St N. while crews remained on scene, with access to the Industrial park closed at that location.
An alternate access was available via King Street and 3rd Street.
