City awards 4th Street N reconstruction contract
The City of Cranbrook has awarded the contract to construct the 4th Street North Reconstruction ā Phase 1 Project to Copcan Civil LP.
The work includes upgrading of underground utilities, roadway, curb and sidewalk along 4th Street North between 17th Street to Victoria Street.
Preliminary construction activities are scheduled to commence April 11 and will include traffic sign setup, survey lay out and utility locates throughout the project limits. Full Construction works are planned to begin April 18.
Construction activities will impact traffic flows and changes will include shifted two-way traffic and single lane alternating traffic as necessary. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained, but some delays will be inevitable and we appreciate your patience while we complete these improvements.
