Coldest Night of the Year almost here
Route vehicle number one is almost ready for the Coldest Night of the Year!
A huge shout out to Steve Mercandelli and Cranbrook Dodge for sponsoring a couple of route vehicles with drivers. Also a huge thank you to Side Kick Stickers for the awesome work, so appreciated!
“We are feeling very good about the progress of the event,” taking place this Saturday in Cranbrook, said organizer Margy DeNeef Slute.
“We have reached not only our sponsorship goal, we’ve surpassed it and we have reached our goal for number of teams. And the momentum is still building. Pretty excited and so appreciative of the support from the community. That of course includes all the volunteers it takes to run a successful event,” DeNeef Slute said.
The opening ceremonies are on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. at Mount Baker Secondary School.
The start/registration/kick off spot location is Mount Baker Secondary School- 1410 Baker Street. The finish/wrap up/meal location spot is Community Connections Society of South East BC- 209 A- 16th Avenue North.
