College welcomes back popular presenter
College of the Rockies’ Continuing Education department is excited to announce the return of Julia King Tamang for a pair of workshops on June 2 and 4.
King Tamang has helped some of North America’s top businesses achieve success through her more than 25 years in business.
She has led previous workshops for the college, all with an enthusiastic response.
College of the Rockies Continuing Education and Contract Training Manager Tracey Whiting says, “We are so pleased to be partnering with Julia again. We have had numerous requests to bring her back to Cranbrook, which speaks well of her delivery and training material.”
The first workshop, entitled Team Building – Chartering Power Teams (Getting Teams Up and Running) will run on June 2 and focuses on how to get your team clear on its purpose, goals, outputs and working methods. These skills can be used for high-powered business teams or for your local parent-teacher committee.
The June 4 workshop, Getting Customers – And Keeping Them, looks at how to get, and keep, a strong customer base. Though customer service is one key, the many other ways to attract and maintain the customers you need will be explored in this daylong seminar.
“These workshops provide practical skills that can be used immediately and there is always a high level of engagement in the classes between Julia and the participants. Great team discussions often begin during this training,” adds Whiting.
Both workshops will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cranbrook Gold Creek campus. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged.
